I always seem to be able to see a photo, but did not have the knowledge to create winning images. I started photography on a more serious note after I retired from physiotherapy in 2015. I joined the Uitenhage Cameraclub and has been an active member there since May 2015. In the 5 years I could see myself grow and I started to feel more confident in entering various competitions.
I belong to the PSSA (Photographic Society of South Africa) where I acquired the following accolades: LPSSA colour in June 2017, LPSSA mono in January 2020, APSSA colour in January 2020, DPSSA colour in June 2020 and a DPSSA mono in June 2020.

At present I am the owner of A&A Guesthouse. The photographic workshops that I shall present, will be held at A&A Guesthouse (www.aaguesthouse.co.za). I have good managers at the guesthouse, which gives me lots of free time to be in awesome places to built on my portfolio.
My other hobbies are kitesurfing and surfing . If I am not in the water myself, I’m on the beach capturing all the action. Easier to anticipate the next move, if you do the sport yourself.
